August Back-to-School Favorites and More at Bisous Bisous Pâtisserie

August 2 – National Ice Cream Sandwich Day
Celebrate National Ice Cream Sandwich Day on August 2 with Bisous’ famous Croissant Waffle Ice Cream Sammies ($6). The delectable treats are made with Bisous’ house-made ice cream sandwiched between two made-to-order croissant waffles and tossed in flavored sugars, then topped with a choice of nut crunch, chocolate decorations, or house-made sauces. Bisous’ beloved food truck, Rendezvous, will also be making a cameo appearance in front of the West Village location from 3 PM to 7 PM.
August 10 – National S’mores Day
No campfire required to enjoy National S’mores Day. Savor the heavenly flavors of toasted marshmallow, melted chocolate, and graham crackers with s’more-flavored bi-colored croissants, cruffins and tarts ($4 – $4.75). Bisous will be offering these backyard bonfire-inspired treats throughout the month of August.
Although it seems like summer has just started, the first day of school is right around the corner. Get on the “A” list early with teachers, bus drivers, principals, and other school staff by giving them delicious school-themed treats like pencil- and apple-shaped shortbread cookies ($4).
Each month, the talented pastry team at Bisous Bisous gets their creative juices flowing to provide seasonal macaron “Flavors of the Month” to its core 11 favorites. Since August is back-to-school month, Bisous Bisous will be offering Caramel Apple macarons in the shape of an apple and Peanut Butter and Jelly macarons ($4). Bisous Bisous’ signature macarons are available to purchase individually, as a gift pack, or as a tiered tower. Custom flavors can also be ordered.
Macaron and Pastry-Making Classes
Bisous Bisous hosts French Macaron classes and Pâte à Choux & Pastry Cream classes monthly. The fun and informative classes are 2 ½ to 3 hours long and include a detailed demonstration by a Bisous Bisous pastry chef, hands-on pastry-making experience, all the recipes, light bites, and delicious desserts and recipes to take home! Attendees can bring a bottle of wine for a relaxing and sweet day in the kitchen. Classes are $80 per person, plus tax, per class.
