Susan Friedman has over 25 years of experience in promotions, special events, marketing and publicity, with special emphasis in media relations. Her knowledge of the Dallas market is unparalleled, and her PR services are often demanded throughout Texas and beyond, leading to placements in such media outlets as the Wall Street Journal, Elle, InStyle Magazine, New York Times, BBC, Forbes, and more.
Working with Burberry’s, Max Mara and other high-end designers, Susan launched her PR career as an intern in London in the fashion industry. After graduating from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, she moved to New York City where she pursued a career in public relations for high profile fashion designers and dance companies. There, she worked with such amazing clients as Mikhail Baryshnikov, The Royal Ballet, Jean Paul Gaultier and Moschino. In Texas, Susan was the Marketing & PR Director for Liberty Noodles and Club Clearview before launching FMPR in 2003.
Susan served as Publicity Chair of AIDS Services of Dallas’ No Tie Dinner and Dessert Party for eight years and has been involved with numerous organizations including the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Dallas Chamber Symphony, Leadership Ballet, and Association for Women in Communication, among others. She enjoys adventure traveling, from ice trekking on Patagonia’s glacier tops to white water rafting in Costa Rica. She fervently reads Time Magazine, likes to celebrate her Halloween birthday in Tulum, Mexico, and is happily married with two fur-kids, an orange cat named Youpie and a 130-pound dog named Shaggy (part Old English Sheepdog and part St. Bernard).
